Follow Alex, a high school student who likes organizing group projects but hasn't chosen a career. This is the experience your students will have — discovery first, decisions backed by evidence.
Alex begins with what already feels natural, what life has taught, and what is worth deliberately building. The aim is curiosity and direction, not a permanent label.
Innate: noticing missing details and bringing order to a busy group. Learned: coordinating a school project taught listening and follow-through. Earned: reading drawings and practicing clear project communication could be next.
Alex starts with I Lead It, then compares it with I Plan, Analyze & Verify It. All seven lanes stay open — roles and interests cross lanes in real projects, and they can in a career too.
Stories make the work personal. Alex meets CM Sally through The Rise of CM Sally: A Leading Lady in Construction and compares her path with The Rise of CM Charlie: Mastery in Construction — noticing what each story reveals about communication, responsibility, and the kind of work worth investigating.
A five-minute sample: the room layout changes, a delivery is late, and a teammate still has the old plan. What is the first question to ask before anyone acts? Who needs the updated information, and why? Alex learns the habit at the heart of the program — separate what is confirmed from what still needs checking. Every activity ends with a discovery clue: Yes, explore deeper · Maybe, gather more evidence · Not right now.
Alex turns the activity into a small Career & Life Masterplan: explore I Lead It first, compare I Plan, Analyze & Verify It next, weigh apprenticeship and employer training against college study, and take one real action within seven days — a career conversation with a teacher or counselor's help. A useful result is a better next investigation. Students may change direction, combine interests, or decide construction isn't their fit right now — all three are honest outcomes.
For Alex, a guided discovery experience comes before specialization: the 8-week So You Want to Be in Construction? course connects career exploration with pathway research, responsible AI use, a résumé, interview practice, and the full Career & Life Masterplan.
The preview shows one student's path. The program gives every student their own.
